Amann Saba 120 Core Spun Polyester Thread | JM Embroideries

Saba is a polyester/polyester core spun. With core spun threads, the single yarns consist of a continuous filament core surrounded by fine fibres. In sewing thread production, this finished hank is called core yarn. Like spun threads, core spun threads have a smooth and textile surface. Thanks to the combination of continuous filament core and spun cover, core spun threads are extremely high performing. Core spun threads display an outstanding sewability and this provides for trouble-free processing, even in difficult applications such as multidirectional sewing operations and buttonholes in thin fabrics. Therefore, core spun threads are well suited for a huge spectre of applications.

Great in tickets, great in colours: Saba is the allrounder among all sewing threads and embroidery yarns. The polyester/polyester core spun is high-performing with an outstanding sewing behaviour. The sewing and embroidery thread convinces with its ideal abrasion resistance and strength properties, and its textile look is a real eyecatcher. Saba is great in tickets and great in colours and suitable for closing and topstitch seams. Last but not least, Saba is also perfectly suited as an embroidery thread for matt embroideries.

Eco-friendly & water-repellent: the Saba range is compelemted by WRe, AMANN’s new  water-repellent, PFC-free finish, which is available on request. Moreover, Hohenstein Laboratories confirm the industrial wash resistance of Saba with the PRO-care certification according to DIN EN ISO 30023.

Saba is mainly used for apparel, e.g. as sewing thread for ladieswear, as sewing thread for menswear, as sewing thread for sportswear & outdoor, as sewing thread for underwear & lingerie, as sewing thread for workwear, as sewing thread for leatherwear and as sewing thread for workwear. Furthermore, it is used as an embroidery thread, as well as a sewing thread for home interior textiles.
