Terra Firma

Crucci Terra Firma is a pure wool knitting yarn in a jumbo weight, sold in large 200g hanks rather than the smaller balls typical of finer yarns. The thick jumbo ply is suited to fast, chunky knitting projects such as blankets and heavy winter jumpers, where you want a bold stitch and don't want to be constantly joining new balls.

Because it comes in 200g hanks, it covers more of a project per unit than standard 50g or 100g balls, which is worth factoring in when working out how many you need for a pattern.
