33 1/3 RPM long playing "LP" vinyl record (All LP's are visually checked, any with marks are normally tested on a Marantz turntable, not normally cleaned unless really needed. ALL LP's kept in a smoke and pet free enviroment whilst in our care)
As you can see by our LP listings, we put a lot of effort into the descriptions, our condition reports are possibly a little on the harsh side, but we put an honest opinion on them, we put as much effort into our packing, therefore, Records are always packed between hard cardboard for shipping.
Please also read the following:-
RECORD AND SLEEVE GRADING: (We normally under estimate the grade, but if in doubt, please ask, we normally reply within an hour during daylight hours.)
RECORD VINYL: Should be absolutely perfect in every way, never played or opened (never viewed due to sealed package)
COVER OR SLEEVE: Still sealed in original manufacturers packaging (Very Rare)
NEAR MINT OR EXCELLENT
RECORD VINYL: Nearly perfect, should have no visible marks, no signs of wear. (May have fingerprints)
COVER OS SLEEVE: should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes or ink/pencil marks (may have original price stickers).
VERY GOOD PLUS
RECORD VINYL: may have slight scuff marks, very minor scratches or marks but will still play almost perfectly, with only barely detectable crackle or pop; a slight noise at the beginning is plausible.
COVER OR SLEEVE: may have the slight signs of normal wear, minor disc ring etc.
RECORD VINYL: May have light scratches, may crackle and pop or make other noises occasionally, but not louder than the music.
COVER OR SLEEVE: May have normal wear such a ring wear and split seams, creases, wear at corners, edges & spine, and some ink or pencil marks.
RECORD VINYL: May have scratches, may have crackle and pop, may have significant surface noise.
COVER OR SLEEVE: May have more than normal wear and tear, be somewhat rough, and somewhat worse than the very good grading.
(we do not normally list items in this condition, but have some in our physical store at very low price, that some buy to be made into clocks)
RECORD VINYL: Possible skipping or repeating, many marks.
COVER OR SLEEVE: Is very rough, would only buy for vinyl condition if that was very good etc.
